Dear ACT UP Members,
We hope this message finds you well. We are excited to invite you to our upcoming meeting, where we will be discussing important matters and voting on a recommendation from the Harassment Grievance Team. Here are the meeting details:
– Date: Monday, January 15
– Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
– Location: Zoom
To ensure that our vote is representative of our general body, we kindly request that 100+ voting members attend. Let’s make our voices heard on this important issue and show the state and opposing counsel that our decisions are united and valid. Additionally, we will provide updates on the next steps in the lawsuit.
We appreciate your continued support and would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who attended last week’s meeting. Your presence made a significant impact.
Please note that, following an unfortunate incident at our previous meeting, we have decided to hold our general meetings remotely on Zoom for the time being. We want to ensure the safety and security of all our members. We will keep you informed of any changes or additional measures we may take.

Founded in 1987, ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power), is a diverse, non-partisan group of individuals united in anger and committed to direct action to end the AIDS crisis. ACT UP currently meets every Monday night at 7PM ET via Zoom. Notes: you will be asked to contribute your first & last name and email address to access online meetings, and KN-95 masks are required for ACT UP NY in person meetings/actions/gatherings. All individuals are welcome!
I’d like to help ACT UP in anyway I can, am in Pennsylvania any need I’m willing to travel to NYC to help it’s time I got involved, I’d like to see a cure for HIV not just medicine a real cure, I worked at a AIDS center in Lancaster Pennsylvania, add my e-mail to any help thank u.
