ACT UP is gearing up for a big outreach effort to promote the upcoming action to demand a Robinhood Tax on Wall Street trades on Wednesday, April 25th at 11am. The tax is a part of a global effort to fully fund AIDS so we can end the AIDS crisis. (The Robinhood tax, aka Financial Transaction tax,  is a part of a multination effort by AIDS/Green/Labor NGOs to secure funding for key initiatives on AIDS, the environment and jobs. It is finally is getting some support from the European Parliament) This is the rescheduled March Anniversary Demo, and now just 3 weeks away. We will be having weekly general meetings on Mondays at 7pm at the LGBT Center. The next one is this Monday April 9th. Please join us.
