Out of the Darkness, World AIDS Day evening Event

ACT UP is joining with The American Run for the End of AIDS (AREA),  and 17 other organizations to sponsor Out of the Darkness, on Monday, December 1st. The event consists of:

a Candlelight Vigil at 6pm at Trinity Lutheran Church of Manhattan at 164 West 100th St (at Amsterdam Avenue) in Manhattan

and continues to:

Advent Lutheran Church/Broadway United Church of Christ, 2504 Broadway (at 93rd St)

for a:

Time of Reflection and Reading of Names of those We have Lost to AIDS beginning at 6:30pm

and followed by a World AIDS Day Gathering

with guest speakers and Performers at 7pm.

Wheelchair accessible and ASL interpreted.
