Vigil for Slain Ugandan LGBT Activist

On Thursday, February 3rd the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission will be holding a peaceful vigil to honor the life and mourn the death of David Kato, a Ugandan LGBT rights activist who was brutally murdered in his home last week. The vigil, which has been endorsed by ACT UP, will take place 4pm at Dag Hammarskojld Plaza on 47th St and 2nd Ave followed by a silent procession to Uganda House on 45th St. Please join us in grief and in courage.
