Where to Get STD/HIV Tested in NYC

Confidential testing is available–at an ever shrinking list of locations–in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx (with no services in Staten Island!) at no, or low cost. Low- to no-cost services for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV

First come, first served testing.

No appointment is necessary.

Anyone 12 years and older can be seen at the clinics.

Immigration status is not a factor.

No parental consent is necessary.

If you do not have health insurance or cannot pay the fee, you can still get services.

Anyone 12+ years old who wants testing for HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, or syphilis can receive these services, even if they have no symptoms.

Founded in 1987, ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power), is a diverse, non-partisan group of individuals united in anger and committed to direct action to end the AIDS crisis. ACT UP currently meets every Monday night at 7PM ET via Zoom. Notes: you will be asked to contribute your first & last name and email address to access online meetings, and KN-95 masks are required for ACT UP NY in person meetings/actions/gatherings.
