ACT UP is hosting a Special ACT UP Meeting Monday, 9/19 from 7 to 9 PM about the MPV outbreak, vaccination, test, & treatment with the Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, Dr. Demetre Daskalakis. Also invited, to be confirmed, NYC Health Commissioner Ashwin Vasan, MD, Ph.D., Paul Chaplin Ph.D. President and CEO of Bavarian Nordic (the maker of the MPV vaccine Jynneos) and Anthony Fauci M.D. Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and Chief of the NIAID Laboratory of Immunoregulation and Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden. Lawrence A. Tabak, D.D.S., Ph.D. is performing the duties of the NIH Director, graciously declined due to schedule conflict.
